An expert in market transformation and systems change, Kristina Skierka is a 3x founder of organizations dedicated to accelerating the energy transition. With expertise that spans energy efficiency, clean technology, and climate change, Kristina has worked at the intersection of private companies and the public good to transform the way energy is generated, used and paid for.
In 2015, Kristina founded Power for All, a global campaign to end energy poverty with decentralized renewable energy (DRE). Power for All built multiple national and local coalitions for energy equity, and worked with 500+ changemakers to reform over 20 policies in 8 countries while transforming the global narrative around renewables. Under her leadership, the campaign won numerous awards, including the Ashden Award (2023) and Reuter’s Energy Transition Award (2024) for the innovative Utilities 2.0 pilot.
Kristina serves on the United Nation’s SDG 7 Technical Advisory Group, and have represented the global renewable energy sector at various venues including the COP and the International Renewable Energy Agency. Kristina is a regularly cited expert on renewables and the future of energy, and have been featured in 100+ outlets including The New York Times, Forbes, CNN and CNBC Africa.
